Affiliate Disclosure

Drywall Insider is an independent publication for drywall subcontractors. Some links on this site are affiliate or referral links. If you follow one and buy, book, or request a quote, we may receive a commission. That commission does not change the price you pay unless the merchant says otherwise on their checkout.

This disclosure is meant to meet the Federal Trade Commission’s rules on endorsements and material connections. If a connection is material, we will say so.

What is and is not an ad

  • Editorial directory stubs (the manufacturer and supplier listings that shipped with the site) are not paid advertisements. They are marked as editorial stubs. They list an official website and what the company makes.
  • Sponsored means someone paid for placement or a labeled sponsorship. That word will appear on the listing or page.
  • Affiliate / referral links may sit on a stub or in a guide even when the listing itself is not sponsored. If we wrap a URL, we treat it as a material connection and keep this page linked in the footer.

We do not invent testimonials, “X shops trust us,” or savings claims to push a link.

Editorial judgment

Product types, UL designs, and Gypsum Association references are written for the drywall sub’s takeoff and field work. A commission does not decide whether Type X belongs on a garage separation or whether a Level 5 is in the spec. If we are wrong, use the contact form and say so.
